About Us: Community
At TEG, we never forget that we are part of a larger community. From executive management to entry-level employees, we encourage our team to participate in activities that make a difference in the communities in which we work and live.
Our dedication to community service has led to the formation of a Community Outreach Committee that solicits ideas from across the company; advertises, promotes, and sponsors events; and gathers interested people and available resources to support our outreach activities.
We’ve supported a wide range of community outreach activities ranging from support for higher education to lending a hand on Habitat for Humanity construction sites. We’re always looking for new activities that will involve the TEG family and touch the lives of those around us. We firmly believe that community outreach is central to our mission, and we’re proud of the enthusiasm and generosity of our employees.
Here’s an overview of some causes we’re supporting:

Higher Education – endowing a scholarship fund at The Volgenau School of Information Technology at George Mason University (Fairfax, VA/Washington, DC). This perpetual fund will provide a scholarship to a hard-working individual pursuing a degree in the IT field.

High-Risk Teens – providing financial support to “The House” (Anacostia, Washington, DC). Established in 1999, The House serves as a catalyst for youth to develop healthy relationships and experience changes of the heart.
